Human Resource Management :  Unlawful Discrimination Investigations


Investigations of employment related discrimination or harassment claims are a difficult area to navigate in our highly litigious climate. The employer is obligated under state and federal law to handle these situations in an efficient, objective and timely manner. An impartial third-party investigation provides an effective way of responding to discrimination or harassment allegations.

Our Human Resource Consultants will conduct a prompt investigation and provide a written report and recommendations based on objective criteria. The process will be conducted in a confidential manner and we will provide necessary reporting documentation as required by law under the Fair Credit and Reporting Act (FCRA). We will:



  • Conduct confidential interviews with claimant, implicated defendant(s), witnesses, and concerned management representatives

  • Review pertinent personnel records

  • Review relevant internal policies

  • Examine legal context to assess organizational liability and risk

  • Develop management report summarizing findings and recommendations for action

  • Provide reports as required under the Fair Credit and Reporting Act (FCRA)

  • Assist with development of management's formal response to claimant (or external agency) and other involved parties
