Goodman & Company Partner Featured Speaker at Government Contracting Seminar

Norfolk, VA – Kenneth D. Bricker, CPA, DABFA, and Partner in the Norfolk office of Goodman & Company, LLP, was the featured speaker at the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce seminar entitled “Government Contracting Boot Camp.”

A graduate of Old Dominion University, Bricker has worked in the government contracting and acquisitions specialty areas since 1975. He has both government and private sector experience, having served as a Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of a government contractor, and as a Senior Auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency. He has also served as a guest instructor at the Defense Contract Audit Institute, a contributing writer to the Defense Contract Audit Manual, a lecturer for the Government Contracting Institute and is adjunct faculty for Old Dominion University and George Washington University.

Bricker has extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). He is a member of the Tidewater Government Industry Council, the Tidewater Association of Services Contractors, the National Contract Management Association, the South Tidewater Association of Ship Repairers, the Peninsula Habitat for Humanity, the Association of Government Accountants, the American Board of Forensic Examiners and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
